MN Adult and Teen Challenge

Program Description

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge assists men, women and teens in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. In the Northland, we offer:

Substance Use Disorder Treatment (co-occurring and trauma informed)-which includes Comprehensive Assessments and referral to appropriate services, 90-day short-term co-occurring residential for men (IOL) with an optional faith-based track, traditional 12-month faith based residential program for men, family therapy and education services, Treatment Coordination Services, and Peer Recovery Support Services. We also offer outpatient programming for women M-TH 9am-12pm; men M-TH 9am-12pm.

Mental Health Services-which includes diagnostic assessments, individual and family psychotherapy, crisis intervention and EMDR.

Medication Management-which includes mental health, addiction medicine, ambulatory detox, and opioid treatment including Suboxone taper, and Naltrexone.

Aftercare-which includes transition to community services, mentor program, and alumni network, activities and smart phone app and website.

Chaplain Services-which includes individual pastoral counseling, prayer support and alpha course.

Other Services-Circle of Security Parenting classes, SAMSHA Anger Management classes, grief and loss support, budgeting classes, Driving with Care, social media education/smart phone clean up, “Life Beyond Bars” reentry support group, notary services and MnSure navigation.
