National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Minnesota

Program Description

Provides guidance to people who are trying to navigate the mental health system by identifying resources and treatment. Also has information about local support groups and classes.

Eating Disorder Educational Group: Meets first Tuesday of every month, starting February 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at RSI, 2900 Piedmont Avenue, Duluth. This educational group through NAMI Duluth offers a safe, non-judgmental space to learn about eating disorders and recovery. Participants will explore how eating disorders develop, how they impact mental and physical health, and what recovery can look like beyond food and weight. The focus is on education, understanding, and reducing shame—not dieting or weight loss. This group is educational in nature and is not a replacement for therapy or medical care. For registration or
