Sharps disposal options in Lake County
Lake View Medical Clinics in both Silver Bay and Two Harbors now accept needles, lancets and syringes (sharps) during business hours. Just check in with the registration office at either location.
Sharps must be placed in puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom, such as an empty laundry detergent bottle with a screw-on lid. Do not store them in glass bottles, aluminum cans or coffee cans. Label them as medical waste before bringing them in for disposal. See sharps disposal guidelines below.
Medical Sharp Drop off Locations in Lake County
- Lake View Silver Bay Medical Clinic, 50 Outer Dr., Silver Bay. Open Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Lake View Medical Clinic Two Harbors, 325 11th Avenue, Two Harbors. Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 pm.
- Lake County Recycling Center, Recycle Center Drive, Two Harbors. Open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
