Protect Your Shoreline Workshop

Join Lake County Soil & Water Conservation District for a free workshop to learn about natural shorelines! Coffee & treats provided. All participants receive a copy of the book Lakescaping for Wildlife & Water Quality.

  • When: Monday, Nov. 3rd from 9:30am – 12:30pm
  • Where: Tettegouche State Park Visitor Center, 5702 MN-61, Silver Bay, MN

What you’ll learn:

  • Why natural shorelines are important & benefit water quality, wildlife, and people
  • How to assess shoreline health
  • Ways to protect and restore your shoreline
  • Funding and technical assistance resources available
