Responsibilities:
Responsible for management of the Attorney’s Office, supervision of staff, and duties as required by Minnesota Statute §388.051.

All new employees must complete and sign employment eligibility verification form on the first day of employment. Documentation verifying identity and employment eligibility must be submitted within three days of the first day of employment.
Application Information:
Appointment by the County Board of Commissioners to serve the balance of the term of the County Attorney. This position will be open to the election process in 2026 for a four-year term beginning January 2027. Cover letter and resume must be received by Lake County Human Resources Department on or before the posted closing date.
