Learning Opportunities Through Stories (LOTS)

The North Shore Collaborative had another successful Learning Opportunities Through Stories (LOTS) program this past summer. We read fun books like Splat the Cat Back to School, Splat, Barnyard Banter, Grumpy Pirate, Peekaboo Elmo!, Under Construction, and The Napping House. Along with reading, we had a good time playing games, making crafts and meeting new friends!

LOTS is an early literacy program for children birth through age five. This free program has been offered every summer since 2009 and has distributed over 14,000 books during that time. The North Shore Collaborative would like to thank the following for their generous financial contributions to the 2023 LOTS program: Cooperative Light and Power Operation Round Up, the North Shore Health Care Foundation, and the Two Harbors Area, Silver Bay Charitable, and Cook County Community Funds, affiliates of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.
