Learning Opportunities Through Stories (LOTS)

For over 25 years, the North Shore Collaborative has hosted Learning Opportunities Through Stories (LOTS), an early literacy program for children birth to age five. In 2025 we transitioned to partnering with the Two Harbors and Silver Bay Public Libraries and Cook County Community Education to provide LOTS. Each year, over 1,000 books are distributed along the North Shore.

In 2026, we continue to partner with the libraries and Cook County Community Education to offer summer reading programming in Two Harbors, Silver Bay, Grand Marais and Tofte. Please see the flyers to learn more about the program and session dates.
