Lake County now accepts highway signage or mailbox repair requests via email
In an effort to provide a convenient way for residents or motorists to contact the Highway Department’s sign maintenance services, customers can email firstname.lastname@example.org to report a sign-related issue, question, or wintertime mailbox damage.
Users are encouraged to leave a phone number where they can be reached with any follow-up questions, and residents interested in purchasing a mailbox support should continue to use the form available on the department’s webpage.
The Highway Department strives to make repairs as soon as practicable. However, some signs need to be specially ordered before they can be replaced. Other factors that may increase the department’s response time are workload prioritization, underground utility checks, or staff time off. Alternatively, residents may still call (218) 510-5103 to report sign maintenance needs.
